Home Assessment: Cost: $120.00
Childcare SOLUTIONS provides Home
Assessments for providers. The Home Assessment helps the provider identify and run
a high quality dayhome. The Childcare SOLUTIONS’
Home Assessment includes:
- a detailed copy of Home Assessment with safety checklist
- a letter to show potential clients that a home inspection has been completed
- a Home Assessment Certificate for display
- Childcare SOLUTIONS’ assessment for adaptability of the home for a dayhome and programming for childcare activities
- Childcare SOLUTIONS’ recommendations for policies and procedures
- Childcare SOLUTIONS’ recommendations for safety and improvements
While the Home Assessment is adapted from government standards, it does not make the dayhome licensed or government approved.
The Business of Dayhomes Consultation: Cost: $175.00
An information-packed introductory course to operating a dayhome, the workshop
helps new or soon-to-be providers launch and maintain a quality dayhome. It also
helps current providers to review their dayhome practices and keep up-to-date.
Consultation content includes:
- organizing the dayhome space
- understanding government regulations
- how to organize, deduct and claim income
- insurance standards for the home, vehicle and provider including income replacement insurance
- obtaining and completing child welfare checks (CWIS) and police clearance checks
- advertising and marketing
- resources in the community
- 35 operating forms including medication information forms, contracts, weekly planning, injury reports, child information sheets, mileage charts, tax statements and more
Provider Packages: Cost: $40.00 each
